The saw knife and spear head are sharp. Assemble and store them carefully, and keep the stick and tools away from children.
Not a doomsday kit. A walking stick for the trail that runs past sunset, the campsite after dark and the moment you need a tool you didn't pack.

Switch on the LED and keep walking. Up to 8 hours of light gets you back to the trailhead.

Plug your phone into the handle's USB port, or clip on the USB fan and cool down without stopping.

The saw knife, screwdrivers, bottle opener and fire starter are stored inside the stick, and the tripod turns the light into a camp lantern.
One rechargeable stick runs the light and the phone charger, and stores your tools inside its tubes.

A rechargeable LED lights the path, or mount the stick on the tripod for a hands-free camp light.

The stick carries its own power bank. Plug your phone into the USB port on the handle and charge it on the trail; the same port runs the included cooling fan.

The hollow tubes store a saw knife, spear head, bottle opener, screwdrivers and more.

An integrated compass keeps you on track, and the flint fire starter sparks a fire quickly in survival conditions.

Lightweight yet rugged aircraft-grade aluminum. Connect 3, 4 or 5 tubes to set the stick to your height.
A flashlight, a power bank, a compass, a fire starter and a multi-tool. That's five things to charge, carry and forget. SmartstickX puts them in the hand you're already walking with.

A plain trekking pole is a hollow tube. SmartstickX carries a battery big enough to run the LED light and charge your phone, plus a full set of tools inside its tubes, so it weighs more than a hollow tube. Owners say it's worth it:
"Although it is a bit heavier than your typical hiking pole without all the extras, I found it to be very sturdy."Gail Holden · Amazon review
"I used to carry a separate flashlight, compass, and multi-tool. Now I just bring this stick. It’s lighter, sturdier, and makes me feel prepared."Sarah K. · Judge.me review
"Took this on a 3-day hike in Colorado and it saved me. The flashlight lasted all night, and the fire starter worked even in the wind. Worth every penny."John M. · Judge.me review
Tap your height:
| Your height | Set pole to |
|---|---|
| 4'11"–5'1" (59–61 in) | 37 in |
| 5'1"–5'3" (61–63 in) | 39 in |
| 5'3"–5'5" (63–65 in) | 41 in |
| 5'5"–5'7" (65–67 in) | 43 in |
| 5'7"–5'10" (67–70 in) | 45 in |
Pole heights are estimates from the SmartstickX sizing chart. Taller than 5'10"? The stick maxes out at 45".

I have not had the best of experiences on this "Shop" app recently, but I needed to find a birthday gift for someone. I found this item on both Shop and on Amazon and this was cheaper on the Shop app. So I purchased from here and when the stick finally came in the mail, I opened it and found that it was missing a few pieces. Agitated a bit, I emailed the company back saying how displeased I was by the uncompleted order, and how this was one of the many times from different companies that I ordered on Shop that my order was never fulfilled fully. The company message back and set things straight and sent out the replacement parts that I needed. I am very pleased by this company and I will be buying from them again because of their professionalism and willingness to help me complete the order I made.
So I absolutely love this walking stick...........for the most part. Strong construction tubes, STURDY strong knife/spear blades. Everything about the build is great. Even the bright light. BUT, but, what the heck were you thinking with the charging port. REALLY using a av port for charging, when the rest of the world has gone to the USB-c charging, we have those cords for our phones and every other device. so now we have to carry a specific cord for this. Come on, get it together. The rest of the Stick is awesomely crafted and built.
I just got other version, light, wire or blue/red flashing. I need a cane this is versatile. Has wrist strap, fan, for me, stun gun. Local animals come around. Can charge phone etc. Not a toy. Crafted well. I may get this version for gift next year. Customer service outstanding as well.
The tungsten tip is a beast on rocky terrain. The USB fan was a lifesaver during summer camping. Honestly, I’d pay double.
Love the design and the tools inside. The only downside? Everyone keeps asking me where I got it!
