This was an amazing multi purpose shovel that I initially got for when I go camping this summer. I have used multi purpose shovels before and this one is probably the highest quality one I have used. After using it couple times, I realized I can also use this for daily use to dig or use it for gardening. The shovel can be put together very easily and can be taken apart. The shovel is made of light weight and made of high quality material. The adjustable shovel head is fantastic, allowing it to fold into various positions. It's perfect for creating a fire ring, digging a trench, or leveling a campsite. As Jeep and RV owners, we find this compact shovel perfect for vehicles. Whether off-roading in the Jeep or around the campground, this shovel is perfect at an affordable price. The included cover is a nice bonus and would be a great gift for an outdoors person.

This is a cool kit to gift to any outdoor enthusiast. It is made of metal and fastens and screws together easily. The accessories are well made and functional. This is not for younger children. The included knife is very sharp and can screw to two sections of handles making it a mini spear. The kit comes packaged well and the multi tools included cover most of the needs of the woods. Highly recommend.

This is a nice shovel for backpacking. This comes in two cases, one with the two poles and one with the shovel, there is the fire starter, the glass breaker, knife and a philips and flat head screwdriver tip. This is easy to put together and take apart, everything is really sturdy and can be relied on on a backpacking trip.

I was very surprised what heavy duty metal this shovel multi-tool is made from, it is solidly made. The blade of the shovel is stainless steel and has a nicely machined edge and the saw blade is very sharp. The removable handle is strong and the sections have very secure joints that screw together. The whole thing folds up into a small package which I will be keeping in my vehicle. There is a good strong glass breaker that I feel will do a good job of breaking the glass without too much effort. I have other small glass breakers that if I actually had to use in an emergency I don't think I could break the glass without a struggle. The metal handle that the glass breaker screws into is very substantial so it has a very secure feel to it with a knurled finish for a secure grip. That section alone would make a good weapon if needed. The small knife blade that can be screwed onto one of the sections has a saw blade on one side and a smooth blade on the other side which is very sharp. There is a fire starter and a whistle, you would definitely need to practice using the fire starter before actually needing to use it in an emergency setting. The only down side that I could find was the screwdriver bit they included did not fit into the plastic section that it was supposed to fit into and there were no instructions, just the picture on the box. Other than that I couldn't be happier with the quality of this shovel multi-tool, it is much better made than I would have expected for a multifunctional tool. It will be with me whenever I am out in the woods or driving.
