I’m honestly impressed with how much functionality is packed into this one stick..The stun gun feature was one of the main reasons I bought it. As an older individual, I do a lot of walking. I encounter coyotes and aggressive animals often. Having that extra layer of protection makes me feel a lot safer. It’s easy to use, and just knowing it’s there gives me peace of mind.The tripod feature is super handy for setting up the stick so it can stand on its own. I’ve used it as a stationary light near my campsite and inside the tent during night time. It’s perfect for hands-free lighting. Great for campingThe LED lights are surprisingly bright. I’ve used them during night hikes and around the campsite, and they do a great job lighting up the area. The emergency light mode is a nice touch too.The stick itself feels solid and supportive on rough terrain. And the extras like the built-in fan and USB charger are useful additions.If you spend a lot of time outdoors or just want a reliable, multi-use walking stick that’s built for both convenience and safety, this walking stick is a great pick.

Got my Stick and it wouldn't take a charge, nor would the light work after turning on once, then it popped off-- forever! I contacted the Stick People and they were very prompt and attentive to my issues. We had a thorough exchange, trying to pinpoint the problem. After determining that it just wasn't working, they sent a replacement one out immediately (thank you, Stick People!)The new one soon arrived and it's a wonderful walking Stick! Very cool that you can pop in a little fan right at the top to provide a li'l breeze. The solar panel can charge it while you're out in the sun, even in bright light as the blue charging light is often lit. It's a nice weight, not too heavy, and not light where it feels flimsy or "cheap", and the light works very well. I love that it also has a little bag w/a shoulder strap you can fit the Stick into once you retract the tip all the way. My S.O. and I searched many walking sticks and hiking poles before choosing The Stick for all these features.The USB port at the top can charge your phone should you need it. It's not superfast but it will definitely save your device from certain battery death! I feel confident that a charged up Stick is going to save us from any unexpected e-jams we may encounter while out hiking and on walks.We are extremely happy with our Stick and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great walking stick that can give you some stability, protection, and charging ability away from any outlets.In this day of rush-rush "instantness", it's so refreshing to engage with a company not treating you like you're one of many on an assembly line. i like the product but i was expecting more on the light feature as it was advertized to be super bright and can generate up to 2600 lumens (although it has only “12 led lights”)…after i fully charged the product… i tested the light and voila it was dim i almost laughed… i have an 800 lumen solar light and it’s way way brighter than this… my 2-dollar solar wall light is even brighter than this… i think this is just 260 lumens and not 2600… a 2600-lumen is indeed brighter than an average household bulb but this isn’t the case (please see attached picture of comparison).if not for the above erroneous claim, i could easily give this a 5 star rating because of the other features. however the “2600” lumens is quite far from the actual brightness so a 4-star would be fair. had they stated in the description 260 or less than 500 lumens i would have rated this a 5⭐️still a great product…

We ordered the SmartstickX for all the unique safety and comfort features we didn’t find on any other trekking pole. Extending the pole to a perfect height is easy and the pole is really sturdy. The LED lights are quite bright, the electric shock adds security. The USB port for charging phones is an added bonus when taking long hikes and using a trail app/GPS.We have used the LED lights and tripod when we had a power outage and it really lit up the kitchen!We contacted your company and were pleased with the response time and answer to our question.I really enjoy using my SmartstickX on my hikes.

I ordered and received it two days early! I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the item and it is well made! Looking forward to using it on my next camping trip!

I loved the packaging that it came in. There is a lot of features I’ll be using this summer during my hikes. The tripod it comes with will be helpful during camping. I can also charge my phone if I ever run out of battery during any adventures. I think overall it’s a great stick for anyone that loves the outdoors.

This looked like a great product. I ordered it but the lights didn’t work. I contacted the seller for a return and they were very prompt and the reality is sometimes there are manufacturing defects. They understood that and got a new one out to me in 2 days. The new one was perfect! It’s strong but light weight and the equipes tools are invaluable and of high quality.

recently purchased the SmartstickX and it exceeded my expectations for outdoor gear. I could tell how great the quality was as soon as I took it out of the box The USB charging port will be very useful for charging my phone during the hikes this summer. The safety-enhancing electric shock contact adds a layer of protection during risky activities. The solar rechargeable feature will also be helpful during hikes withouth needing an outlet for charging the stick. The ignition and the LED light with two modes will be useful for camping. The quality of the twist lock is amazing and sturdier than the sticks I have used in past.

The stick's quality is exceptional, and I appreciate its comfortable grip that allows a tight and secure hold. Package arrived earlier and in perfect condition. I thought this will be another Smart stick with cheap gadgets but each of the components are made with high quality material including Smart stick X. It's not your typical stick they thought of everything. It is adjustable for different heights, multi purposes ,has power bank, solar, USB port that can be use for charging phone, LED light, Emergency light, Small USB fan and on bottom of stick there is electric shocking device/ignition that can be use for dual purposes start up camp fire or in emergency shock wild animals or predators. Comes with carrying case. Overall very good . Highly recommend buying.

I think I would accidentally discharge the taser a lot on accident based on its location. If it had a different location it would be perfect but I do search and rescue for my state and I think it’s just too much of a hazard. I also wish the top of the stick was padded more, or that the light wasn’t part of the “handle”. It seems like it definitely heat up while using at night and that’s not ideal. It’s also heavier than most stick.

FYI if you get an opened box they won’t refund you. Not sure how they would get an opened box to sell if they don’t take returns.

I just love this stick, it needed a few upgrades from the original one I bought and now I have just received my second one. We'll see if they're connecting issues upgrades were successful, that's the only problem I had with the original. Most unique hiking stick I have found. Love the light feature, it cast a bright light 180° below eyesight level which is perfect. Just love everything about this, if you're a hunter/outdoorsman you got to get one, I'll tell you you won't be disappointed. Iv'e inadvertently probably sold 10 of these by word of mouth /demostration because everybody I know and people on the street want to know how to get one when I show them all the features it has to offer. Whoever "thunk" this one up came up with a winner, just need to solve those connecting issues and I'll find out if they have with this new one I have just received. And like I recommended I hope they make a accessory for the stick, since I'm a Hunter I suggested a v brace welded on top of the screw cap/strap as a shooting aid accessory. Hopefully they'll take my advice since they make the T-handle accessory.

I like this stick very much. I would say I modified it some by putting a softer rubber tip over the hard tip that comes with it. I personally would prefer if it were longer maybe 5'5" but that is preference.

Seriously, a walking stick that's adjustable that has all these attachments charge your phone flashlight and a stun gun for my protection. I never leave home without it. It's one of my favorite devices to carry on me at all times. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in my hip and spine and it helps me get through town just fine. And mine stop working after a long period of time and customer service was amazing and helping me get a new one... Thank you smartstickx amazing product..

Overall I think it is quite useful. The accessories seem to work well except the hard plastic tip supplied. It gives no grip whatsoever to concrete or asphalt surfaces. It just slides around and is useless. I replaced it with a rubber 5/8” diameter rubber cane tip and it grips the surface with out sliding around.

This was a Christmas present for my husband. It arrived early and is everything the site said. Very happy.

I have tried to contact customer service 2 times and have had no reply. That is why the 1 star. I paid for fast freight and it took 5 days to get stick, I went on my camping trip without the stick. I sent an email about a charging question and no reply.

Very cool! Fortunately, have not had to use the zapper part but it looks formidable.
